“Have you ever tried Korean Tapas? If not, here’s your chance. Charles “Tiger” Chong (CEO of Hotel Verité) has jumped into the culinary war in the Flat Iron district with a Grand Opening celebration on March 14th. Barn Joo is the massive scale creation making up 8,100 square feet space and is located at the base of the Hotel Verité (893 Broadway, New York, NY 10003). The space includes two individual full bars, a private mezzanine, downstairs lounge and a fully equipped music stage. You can tune in throughout the year for some live performances.
Barn Joo (meaning an alcoholic or musical accompaniment in Korean) is a Korean-inspired bar/restaurant with a slogan of “Eat, Drink, Play.” The place aims to be a a gastropub filled with earthy charm, farm to table small plates and will make you feel right at home. It’s a place to have a casual dinner, relax with some drinks and to grab a quick bite at the bar.”
